Crane vessels
Crane vessels are specialised ships designed for lifting heavy loads, often used in salvage or offshore construction.
The world’s largest crane vessel is the Semi-Submersible Crane Vessel (SSCV) Thaif that can lift over 14 million kilograms and installed the main spar of the Erasmus bridge and decommissioned Brent Spar.

Robotank
Carnegie Mellon university’s National Robotics Engineering Centre (NREC) in Pennsylvania has been awarded a $14.4 million contract by the US Army to build a robotic unmanned tank.
Some of the money will go towards improving NREC’s Crusher, a 6,000kg unmanned ground vehicle shown below.

Mobula Rays (Myliobatidae mobula) in the Gulf of California (a.k.a. the Sea of Cortez) have been photographed “jumping” over two metres into the air.
