Tortoises in the fridge

If tor­toises become too warm during hiberna­tion they are in danger of waking up and then not being able to sustain themselves.

So Shirley Neely of the Jersey Tortoise Sanc­tuary keeps them at a constant tem­per­ature in her fridge.
